2 is duality where 4 is time and 3 ego. 6 is the duality of ego. 666 is a dream or nightmare personified. Egoistic dream or reality in conflict with the world. When everyone has one, it seems to be the same as the world. And without a common dream, there is no common world.

Mark of the beast

In the Bible ‘beast’ can refer to any entity of perpetuating malignant violence . I wonder sometimes if we are not looking at some uninefitible reality instead of an event where you ‘get’ the mark of the beast in some event. You might as well bear this mark by association.
