The policy for drugs, in the west has been to literally declare a war on drugs. People use drugs, it has been the case and is ongoing and growing. The violence and chaos comes from the war for control of those drugs that are already there.

Yes we take some off the market, but if you think about that there is just some bathtub somewhere filled up with coca leafs and chemicals to then sell it times 10 or 20 in the west. You know, that isn’t going to stop. Because people are gonna be choosing the easy money. Or say you get a couple 1000 a month legal income and you get to either die or get money and do something illegal.

The supply of drugs has to be completely regulated. Is it going to stop illegal drugs? No, of course not. But the community, the society that is part of the solution is being alienated.

If a drug user cannot maintain their addiction in a safe and reliable manor, then how is that person going to get further. The steps towards recovery can be facilitated this way as there is not as many uncertainty factors and make it possible to get a fix on any repeating patterns.

It is simply detached to deny drug use, especially when you think about how many get in contact with it now. So let them. Difficult? Wrong? It doesn’t matter, drug use is a fact and getting much worse and the solution is creating a path of possibility for some to maintain their addiction legally without being chased down like a criminal.

Still not enough, we are going to have to work with the addicts and facilitate their use, because the illegal drug market is a health hazard.

There is a lot between drugs are good and drugs have to be attacked with military force. For example creating a schedule with an addict for supplying the drugs to them and at what type and place that can be used.
