The Key to Change

$content = [

Change can be interpreted in different ways. The way I am talking about it is change that is different from altering or merely changing direction.

In nature there isn’t a real now, or present. There is a movement or maybe technically more of a resonance, but not a fixed point in time that we call now. That is of a psychological nature. We have invented time and thinking. To arrive at something through time, through a process of thinking.

To improve something or alter something through steps so that we change through time into something else. This particular process is dependent on a fixed idea of the self that we can change and alter. Fundamentally nothing changes, what happens is we change a direction within a set of conditions.

Because of this you automatically skip the cause of the fundamental psychological pivotal moment where real change happens. Which is in the now. We continue in the now from the past. From memory and experience we continue. And in this moment we become what we were/are. This moment we call now or the present.

Before you do anything, there is a process that is necessary for real change. Which is to listen. Listen not to hear something specific or anything, but a process where you become quiet. It is something that you do before anything else. When you really listen you become still, acute. Then you see. Again not something specific but to observe.

The main thing is that at the moment you have a specific mind set and thought from where you observe, you block out anything necessary to make a real rational sane action. The only thing that happens is that you further along the conditioning you already have. It becomes a type of complexion within something that already exists without ever looking at the whole.

At the moment you listen and observe, the seeing is the action. At that moment you have removed your particular definition in the whole and that action removes the cause that makes you end up as a end product of the whole and nothing else.

Memories and experience and conclusions carried along is the only cause of anything. I understand that some say what about world hunger and pollution and corruption. And yes it does not directly solve that, however the trying to change from within the system only adds to it. That is the main point.

The change that goes through time in a process you could call evolution is something we have assumed is also the same for the psychological self. Which it is not. This is the problem why nothing changes. Change doesn’t take time or some process or anything like that.

Does that mean to just forget about the past? No, it means to not repeat it. Does that mean we don’t have to learn to become better? You don’t have to learn to become anything. Just see what you already are and in this seeing is the action of stepping out and when you really see you can’t continue as the same anymore, because you have effectively stopped becoming what was by seeing what is.
